- On Fridays, Jumu'ah takes Dhuhr's place by itself.
- After Isha, the screen moves on to tomorrow's Fajr.
- The day before your iqama times change, the screen shows a notice.

As many screens as your masjid needs
Your subscription has no screen limit. Put a screen in the prayer hall, the women's prayer hall, the lobby, the entrance, the wudu area, the classrooms and the community hall, and add another whenever you need one, at no extra cost. Each screen has its own design and language, in landscape or portrait. To add one, plug a Google TV device into any screen and enter your 6-digit Masjid ID. The portal lists every screen, with which are online and when each was last seen.

TV display questions
Which devices does it run on?
Any Android TV or Google TV device: a TV with Google TV built in, or a Google TV stick plugged into the HDMI port of any TV or monitor.
How do we set up a new screen?
Install the MasjidNexus TV app, choose the screen's language and orientation, and enter your 6-digit Masjid ID. Your times appear straight away.
Can the screen hang in portrait?
Yes. Choose portrait for the screen and set the mounting angle on the TV.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The screen keeps showing the right times: it calculates them itself and stores everything it needs. Your changes reach it when the connection is back.
How quickly do our changes reach the screen?
Straight away. What you save in the portal reaches every screen that's online, live.
What does the screen show during and after prayer?
During prayer it can stay as it is, show a rak'ah tracker, dim or go blank. After prayer it can show the azkar in one of four styles, or dim.
Can it play a sound at prayer time?
Yes, a short cue such as a beep or a takbeer at adhan and iqama time.
Can the screen dim at night?
Yes. Dim it or blank it from Isha to Fajr, or on your own schedule.
Which languages can the screen show?
37 languages, with right-to-left layouts, Western or Arabic-Indic digits, and 12- or 24-hour time. Each screen can have its own language.
Does it start by itself when the TV is switched on?
Yes, once you allow it on the TV: Android asks for the “Display over other apps” permission. If the app ever stops, a watchdog restarts it.
